I have now added POLAR as an OSGeo Community Project on the website: https://www.osgeo.org/projects/polar/ and closed the gitea issue: https://gitea.osgeo.org/osgeo/projects-support/issues/14 Welcome to OSGeo POLAR! For those interested, there was a couple of comments on individual file level vs repository level licensing approaches: jive commented 2 weeks ago Owner I understand about not wishing the bulk of headers, you may wish to take the more modern / fashionable approach of using SPDX-License-Identifier in each file, and maintain the license in the source directory. My understanding is many of the license compatibility tools search for SPDX-License-Identifier, and you do not wish folks copying and pasting after finding your code via web search to have an excuse for missing "open source" label. polar commented last week Author We are aware of the disadvantages and potential risks described. However, we have consciously decided to forgo licence markings in individual files and instead rely on a repository-level licence file. Best wishes and thanks for all your efforts and committee members for voting. Nick.
