[Incubator] [EXTERN] Re: request for permission to create a project page

Hi,
I'm not quite sure what to do next in order to add my project. I've created a page and submited for review. I was told to submit an issue at https://gitea.osgeo.org/osgeo/projects-support/issues/new?template=.gitea%2fissue_template%2fcommunity_project_application.md, but it seems to me that this is the step needed to become a community project. Or do I still need to do this to get my project listed?
