Hi Daniel,

I've joined the foss4g channel and will chat to you this afternoon,
To anyone wishing to join without an IRC client you can connect through a web page at https://webchat.freenode.net/

Hi Seth, All,

If it is not too late - shall we meet on the foss4g irc channel this afternoon at 15.30 GMT?

Best regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately I'm away next Thursday. If it is IRC I can be free most other days during office hours.
I'd suggest the #foss4g channel as the most appropriate? If people don't want to install a client you can join IRC on https://webchat.freenode.net/

I guess at this stage we just need to answer:

  * Are people interested in helping organise an event next year
  *   If yes:

     * When the event should take place
     * Where the event should take place

+1 from me to continue organising an event and to start looking for speakers / attendees.

Seth

Hi Seth, All,

Would next Thursday, 19th of December suit at 4pm on IRC? Which channel would you suggest we use Seth?

Best regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

The codesprint has been announced for May 25-29 [1].
A call, or even an IRC chat would be useful to plan for next year. We could use one of the OSGeo IRC channels at [2].

Hi Seth,

I haven't made any plans to attend the code sprint next year, but note that the proposed dates could potentially coincide with our annual symposium. Probably a good idea to organise a teleconf before Christmas to discuss options for 2020, I'll circulate a poll next week in order to fix a time.

best regards,

Daniel.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is thinking of attending the OSGeo Codesprint next year. There is currently a Doodle poll out - https://doodle.com/poll/zrkp3ztzs764uifq
Are we considering an Irish event next year? If so any thoughts on what time of year (and to avoid clashing with the above)?

Seth
