A Senior Developer is currently required for a 3 month contract with
possible extension to develop and maintain a Spatial based application,
Geodata.Vic.
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced Developer with
specialist skills in J2EE as well as with the open source spatial stack
(e.g. GeoServer, Geotools, Deegree, GeoNetwork etc).
An understanding of OGC Web Services, GML, GeoSciML and Web Feature
Services will be highly regarded.
Exposure to geological based data and web portals will also assist you in
this role.
Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including
technical/non-technical, vendor organisations and other business areas is
also a requirement.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills are a must.
