Hello,

I'm developing a social networking website in PHP, with a central geo map 
component.  I need custom coding to make it look and behave similar to 
Google Maps.  For example, in addition to zoom, nice terrain graphics, 
street names and such, we need the ability to add a photo / multimedia layer

(with stacking image thumbnails & other icons).   Clicking on an icon would 
fetch appropriate content from the server, via ajax, displayed in a popup 
div containing html content.

After investigating the various OSGeo projects, I believe that OpenLayers is

the best fit, since it is server-agnostic (and I don't know JAVA), so I will

need experienced javascript programmer(s), experienced in OpenLayers 
application programming.

There will also be alot of other javascript UX programming.   We will need a

programmer to provide the PHP programming to service the ajax calls, too, if

that is up your alley (or your company's).

Drupal appears to be the best framework for this, because it has the 
OpenLayers plugin, and several social networking plugins.

If you are a capable and experienced programmer in this arena, and you are 
looking for work, please contact me.   If you know of such a person, please

We need the following information:

*	Resume, portfolio, and education 

*	examples of similar projects 

*	availability (how many hours / wk, and when you can start) 

*	hourly rate 

*	Experience / training in each of the following areas: 


*	Drupal 

*	OpenLayers geo mapping 

*	advanced javascript, prototype 

*	social networking 

*	API implementation programming (eg, facebook graph api) 

*	user interface design (UX) 

*	HTML(5), CSS(3) 

*	mobile websites

*	svn, multi-stage deployment 

*	telecommute team development and collaboration 

*	some background information, and testimonials /references

 
The team roles will be something like this:

1- financing, marketing, publicity, and direction (boss)
2- project manager, CVS / deployment, architecture, documentation, and 
server admin (me)
3- web-mapping
3a - I think we may also need an OOP javascript programmer, which logically 
should be the web-mapping programmer, if he has the time, otherwise I would 
have to hire somebody for that.
4- PHP social coder, strong API skills
5- PHP social coder, strong javascript skills
6- tester (maybe the 2nd coder will do it)
7- graphics, html/css, and UX design

We need to fill positions 3-7.  Please let me know what you can do.
