Flat Rock Geographics, LLC is a web application development and
geospatial/GIS consulting company located in St. Paul, MN.  We have an
immediate need for a Web Developer with 3 to 5 years experience. We seek a
passionate, self-directed person with original ideas.

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years demonstrable experience with Javascript and jQuery
* 3 years with any server-side scripting language – PHP, Python, Ruby, etc
* Proficiency with CSS, HTML, AJAX and XML
* Databases and CRUD (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, etc.)
* Code versioning systems such as Subversion or Git

Desirable Skills:

* Experience with Javascript mapping APIs – OpenLayers, GoogleMaps, etc.
* PHP and Model-View-Controller frameworks (Codeigniter, Ruby on Rails, etc)
* Developing/consuming REST web services
* Native mobile or mobile web development
* Working with MapServer or GeoServer
* Understanding of GIS concepts/terminology
* Agile development methodology
* Cloud API – Amazon, Azure, etc.
* Social Networking APIs
* Java development
