Camptocamp «Geospatial Solutions» team is looking for a GIS Developer.
As GIS Developer, you are interested in geospatial Open Source technologies
and you have solid development skills. You are strongly motivated by the
development of innovative GIS applications for our customers. Ideally, you
are experienced in QGIS, you understand Open Source ecosystems related to
QGIS (GDal, Geos, Proj, PostGIS, etc), and you have some knowledge of
webmapping (OpenLayers).
Outgoing, you are able to work in a team, to be involved in Open Source
communities and to understand clients’ needs.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Deployment of our GIS solutions, including packaging
- Corrective or evolutive contributions to GIS projects
- Development of new business functional modules
- Maintenance of applications
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent technical skills in programming (C++/Python)
- Business knowledge in GIS
- Knowledge of QGIS
- Experience in OSGeo stack and OGC standards
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments
BACKGROUND
- Strong interest in Open Source
- Computer engineering diploma
- Languages: English (ideally knowledge of French and/or German, a plus)
- Independent, motivated and responsible
