Hi all,
Gigaclear, a rural FTTH ISP in the UK, is looking for geospatial
developers on a full-time or fixed-term contractual basis in our
Abingdon (just south of Oxford) offices.
We're a Python shop, use QGIS and web mapping (OL3) extensively, and are
now expanding our geospatial team for new projects involving mobile
mapping with high-resolution LiDAR and imagery (amongst other stuff like
GPR). We've got a small development team, currently growing in scale to
meet the new demands from the business as we expand. We do a lot of
automation and analysis of data, both with raster and vector datasets,
and build lots of bespoke GIS applications for internal customers.
If you're looking for an exciting, fast-paced job with a small team in a
rapidly growing company in the UK and enjoy writing Python for
geospatial applications, do drop me a line with your CV (
james at gigaclear.com ) for more information.
Cheers,
James Harrison
Senior Architect, Gigaclear plc
