[OSGeo-Jobs] Digital soil mapping specialist with extensive experience in GIS

ISRIC is looking for a digital soil mapping specialist with extensive
experience in GIS. The digital soil mapping specialist will be working in
our mapping team and the major duties are:
• the development of spatial information productions characterising soil
and land qualities, for instance for soil organic carbon sequestration,
soil fertility assessments, and sustainable land management; the products
will be based on available soil information (e.g. from WoSIS and
SoilGrids), remote sensing data and/or modelling approaches;
• liaise with internal or external specialists for the development of these
products;
• publish developed methods and resulting products in peer reviewed
journals;
• actively engage in a co-creation process with users and clients to
develop these products and to evaluate the quality and accuracy of the
products;
• contribute to the further development of SoilGrids (www.soilgrids.org).
