It is commented out because the Point Source ID stuff didn't exist  
until 1.2, but it didn't make it into las2txt and txt2las for the 1.2  
release.

I have fixed this issue in both trunk and the 1.2 branch http://liblas.org/ticket/121 
   If it is convenient for you to build from source, I would suggest  
checking out a copy of the code from subversion http://liblas.org/svn/trunk
