I missed the link to the project in Google code:
http://code.google.com/p/lasmpi/. Note the simple workflow diagram is
generated with real samples. The 8 million point reclassification takes
5minutes on my dual-core in parallel, and 8 minutes on single core. So the
task is trivially parallalizable.
