[Liblas-devel] 1.6.1 Released

The libLAS team is pleased to announce the release of 1.6.1.

libLAS 1.6.1 is a maintenance release that fixes a number of issue.  

* LASzip 1.2.0 is required for libLAS 1.6.1 if you want LASzip compression support  <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/222>
* LIBLAS_ENDIAN_AWARE does not cleanly compile <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/214>
* libLAS does not write 0xAABB into reserved field of VLRs <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/217>
* liblas::Header has artificial limits on CreationDay and CreationDOY <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/221>
* Reprojection with --min-offset causes data to mis-scaled <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/216>
* CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE is now set to RelWithDebInfo by default <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/215>
* lasinfo --point --xml wasn't valid xml <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/210>
* clean up reporting of files with no coordinate system info in lasinfo <http://trac.liblas.org/ticket/220>
