[Liblas-devel] [Dev c++] Linker error. problem with liblas

A quick glance at the site says that Dev-C++ uses the MinGW compilers.
Recalling a conversation from several months ago [1][2], I replied to Michal earlier today and said that the only supported compiler on Windows is the Visual C compiler.
Is that still the case, or are we able to use MinGW to build libLAS nowadays?
