I have already got Arramagong installed on a virtual box. Will get GISVM installed as well and then run a few comparisons.
Thinking that it would be nice to use the Geostatistic version so I will use it.

as far as I know, there is not really a latest version of a LiveDVD for
FOSS4G 2009. Atm we have Ricardo's GISVM (a desktop version and server
version which seems to be more recent) and LISAsoft's Arramagong
LiveDVD. We released the last beta version of Arramagong at least 6
months ago and I haven't worked on it since then.
Right now we are trying to figure out what the most effective way is to
get a new LiveDVD ready for FOSS4G.
Any help is more than welcome and a first step would probably be to
check out the existing old versions of the LiveDVD and the GISVM, so we
can decide what to do next.
