Hi,

it would be useful for testing purposes if at the end of your
install script you could add a few lines of instructions on
how to test if your package is working correctly. Aimed at
someone who is technically competant but has never used the
software before and should just be enough to prove functionality.

(I've just done this for grass and gpsdrive.)
