[Live-demo] Sample data in the home or desktop

Hi,

would not be better to move the sample data which are on the LiveDVD
in the /usr/local/share/ into a home directory of the user?
Usually it is quite practical to have write access to the data - for
testing the software. There still can be symlink from /usr/local/share
if there is a reference in manuals or so.

To have an icon on the desktop pointing to the folder with all
available datasets would be also great.
