In order to ensure quality on OSGeo-Live, it really helps to have every
document reviewed by someone other than the author, so that we catch any
typos before we ship the documentation.
One job which should not be much extra effort for people who are already
translating, is to check documents which has been upgraded from
osgeo-live4.0 to version 4.5.
What this will involve is:
* Look for documents which have moved to the 4.5draft status
* Use svn diff to check difference between 4.0 and 4.5draft
* Confirm that the new text (if any) has no spelling mistakes and is
grammatically correct
* Confirm that the version number now points at the new version
* Update the status spreadsheet for the document to 4.5final
* Add your name down as the reviewer (to confirm that the doc has been
reviewed)
That is it.
The job can be shared between a few people, and I expect a few
translators can help with this task.
If interested, please let me know.
For any new project, we should have a greater level of review, and I'm
happy to help with new project overview reviews.
