[Live-demo] images in project_description.html ?

While browsing through the project description files I noticed that
nobody is using images in them.
I wanted to use something similar to:
http://saga-gis.org/en/about/software.html
which I believe is much more pleasing than just text only. Is there
any objection to this type of project description or are rules tight
like for the application overview? And if it is ok like that, where
should the images be placed?
