 under which project? the actual text, or just a link at the end of the R,
 GRASS, GMT, GDAL quickstarts, or another quickstart, or a new page?

 rhetorical question: there are some gems in there, but conceptually-- how
 do we justify linking to Dylan's particular pages and not 1000 other how
 to geo-program in python docs or slashgeo.org blogs?

 more details about ideas for the "how" the "why" please.
