[Live-demo] ORFEO Toolbox in OSGeoLive?

Manuel,

I went ahead and made an initial install script (install_otb.sh in svn)
when I went to test OTB on my computer. Testing on 2 computers it pulled
about 100-115MB of new files. It looks like we can shave some of that
off by dropping the otbapp-legacy (22MB) package and a couple of other
redundant packages.

I was really interested in building the QGIS plugin too but got stuck on
that and was hoping your team could look into making that plugin it's
own ubuntu package like qgis-plugin-grass.

There are some remote sensing datasets on the disc if I remember
correctly and it would be great if you could collaborate with the GRASS,
OSSIM, SAGA etc people on using a common data set for all of those. We
are trying to move towards a universal set for all the apps, that is
easy to relocate once a year to the location of FOSS4G. So picking
Satellite data that is available on a worldwide level (ie:Landsat, SRTM)
is a good choice. (see install_ossim... for more information).
