 If you want to use a European mirror, I'd suggest the Austrian one.
http://cran.at.r-project.org/

 (Not because I think the Greek one will go bankrupt soon) It's the R
master site. In fact, you could probably use
http://cran.r-project.org/ which will get you the Austrian mirror, but
you can tweak your local DNS or /etc/hosts file if you want to go
somewhere else for some reason
