 Replying to [ticket:935 kalxas]:
 > Launchers for spatialite-gui and spatialite-gis are missing, while the
 applications are installed.
 I'd like to fix this, but I'm a bit confused as to where the install
 script should place the *.desktop files. AS it is now, the spatialite_gui
 and spatialite-gis launchers appear only in the regular xfce "Education"
 menu. SHould I push the desktop files also into
 /usr/local/share/applications ?
