[Live-demo] [Workshops] OSGeoLive in FOSS4G 2014 workshops?

No it's unlikely that QGIS will be ready to work with GRASS 7 that
quickly. There are major changes to GRASS that require overhauls of QGIS
connectors, and how to implement GRASS 7 support is quite debated on the
qgis-dev list.

While stable, GRASS 7 is actually in beta status not release.

My recommendation is that we add a script for GRASS 7 but do not enable
it by default. For the workshop the best idea is to plan to use the
osgeo-live base install and simply add the GRASS 7 install to it for
that VM before cloning the VM to the machines.

Can GRASS 6 and 7 from debs install side-by-side cleanly?

Thanks,
Alex
