[Lizmap] lizmap not saving values in drop down menu

Dear sirs,
i am using qgis server 3.8 on ubuntu server, lizmap web client master and
postgresql 11
when i edit a layer with fields as value map form, i can choose the value i
want in rhe drop down menu, but when i save the edits, the value is not
stored it is always null.
could you please help me?
