it works in my case just like in yours:

in both the button Play does not work, but the Next and Previous do.

The date format is different, in your data (working):
2020-08-21T04:09:51.930Z
In my data (not working):
2020/01/18 06:12:06.000
Should I change the format of my data (NB: they were working in previous
versions of qgisserver/lm), or cna LM be made more tolerant of different
formats?
