Hi Arnaud,

this is not a setting in the plugin, it simply works if you use the QGIS themes :)

Just as the layer settings in QGIS are saved in the respective theme, so is the display in Lizmap in the corresponding theme. The first theme (I assume alphabetical) can then be activated in the plugin explitzit in the plugin („Activate first map theme on startup“ in Layers).

For me [1] this is " Standard". The "Aerial images" group is open for the "DOP 2021" topic.

Unfortunately, this does not (yet?) work with the legend display.

The QGIS themes are great. I once had a separate window programmed for this as a "ThemeSelector" plugin by Werner Macho.

I can't say whether this is documented with the themes and groups. My English is very poor and when translating with Deepl & Co. things always get lost.

But the earlier javascripts for closing groups are no longer intended for version 3.7 [2] and so I looked for an alternative. The Javascript was always too time-consuming for me and didn't work properly (so I always closed all groups).

Can you confirm my speed observations?

Not directly related to your post. But I was interested by the new functionality you described "controls the settings for groups (open / closed) via the QGIS themes.".

But I can't find where it's located in the lizmap plugin. Could you please tell me where it is ?

I'm migrating to the 3.7, and I can assure you that this version brings a lot of new cool features :)

I am also unable to display the legend of (my own) WMS service („ALKIS-Daten 30.11.2023“, „Gebäudeschraffuren“). In the QGIS themes they are saved as open.

And there is probably a small bug in 3.7.3:

The checkbox "Hide checkboxes for groups" (under Layers) has no function in my opinion. It is active but the checkboxes for groups are displayed [1]

Should I describe it on Github?

The projects are identical (only saved in the plugin for the respective version). They run on the same server (Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS with QGIS server 3.22.16).
