Hola a todos,

desde el Consejo de Dirección del Capítulo Local Hispanohablante
quisieramos comunicaros que hemos puesto en marcha una nueva
iniciativa para intentar aumentar la visibilidad de la Comunidad en
Internet: hemos abierto el Blog de OSGeo-es.

La idea es utilizarlo como una voz oficial del Capítulo en la que se
informe de las actividades y proyectos en los que está involucrada la
Comunidad hispanohablante de OSGeo.

Este blog *no* es un "medio exclusivo del Consejo de dirección", y
cualquiera, tanto dentro de la Comunidad como relacionado con la
geomática, está invitado a colaborar en él.

Aprovechamos la ocasión para animar, una vez más, a la Comunidad a que
nos cuente qué actividades relacionadas con OSGeo realiza en el ámbito
hispanoblante y, mediante este nuevo medio y los que ya empleabamos
anteriormente (1), darles la mayor difusión posible.

Hi,

the OSGeo Spanish Language Local Chapter Board of Directors (Board-es)
wants to announce the oppening of a new blog in order to improve the
visibility of the Spanish Language Local Chapter (OSGeo-es) Comunity
on Internet and in the Spanish Language GIS Comunity.

The idea is to feed it with news of the activities and projects in
which OSGeo-es and OSGeo are taking part and specially the ones
involving the Spanish Language Comunity.

The blog is *not* intended to be a "Board-es exclusive media"
everybody, members of the Comunity or from the Geomatics world, is
invited to participate.

We want to take advantage of this mail to encourage the members of the
Comunity to publicize all the OSGeo related activities in which they
are involved in order to spread the OSGeo knowledge in the Spanish
Language environment. The Board-es will use this new blog and the
means we already have (1) to spread the news.
