Cameron,

A good issue. We have a lot of work to do just to set up the foundation over the next few weeks. Coming up with a process for this will take even more time, but is obviously important. Rich is working on that in parallel and we'll have some discussion when we get to that action item on the long list of items.

Subject:	[OSGeo-Discuss] IP and License audit?

I sent this a couple of days ago, but it seem to have been lost during
the email move:

---

I understand that a license audit would be required before joining OSGeo.
Is an IP audit required also?
What is required to complete such an audit and what would be the
expected output?

Mapbuilder is still a young project and I we should be able to contact
all our contributors and get them to agree to signing an license agreement.

However, I know less about the libraries that Mapbuilder depends upon.
What audit criteria is required for the libraries we use?
