[Mapbender-dev] Source code: character encoding and line breaks

The Mapbender source is supposed to be encoded in UTF-8 using unix-style
line breaks (\n).

However, some files are still not UTF-8 and/or have windows-style line
breaks (\r\n).

I recommend to fix this issue before the release of 2.6. As some of you
might still be working on 2.6, I suggest to commit all your changes
until Monday, 1700 UTC+1 (start of IRC meeting). After this, I will
convert all faulty files and will commit them to trunk.

In the future, please make sure to check in only UTF-8 encoded files
with unix-style line breaks. In Aptana, I can set the preferences like this

Window => Preferences => General => Workspace

You can also convert line breaks in Aptana via

File => convert line delimiters to => Unix

I guess the settings are similar or even identical in Eclipse.

Thanks

Christoph
