As we already have several new features ready for 2.7, I have created a 
branch 2.6.

 From now on, please make sure to check in bug fixes BOTH in trunk and 
branches/2.6.

If a bug is severe, please also make a bug fix for branches/2.5! Contact 
me when in doubt.
