Hi there,

we should get our ideas page [1] up to date within the next 2 days. 
Apart from "admin interfaces" I would discard all ideas.

During the last IRC meeting we came up with the following ideas:

- create administration interfaces
- replace wz_jsgraphics by a vector graphics library like RaphaelJS
- Implement a RESTful server side API

Here's what I want you to do

(1) Add more ideas to the wiki page
(2) discuss ideas here
(3) Volunteer to mentor a student

How do I sign up as a mentor?

Just follow these steps:
1. Sign up to soc at lists.osgeo.org [2]
2. Present yourself on soc at lists.osgeo.org
3. Sign up to Melange [3]
4. Fill in the Mentor form [4]
5. Apply to become a mentor for OSGeo (link will be posted later since
this is not yet possible)



I'm definitely willing to mentor one of the first two ideas (admin 
interfaces or raphaeljs). However, I'm limiting myself to mentoring one 
student this year. I have mentored two students in 2008 and 2009, and 
want to focus on a single student this year. I also want to encourage 
others to help and mentor.

Please respond until tomorrow evening.
