Folks,
I won't be able to attend this evening IRC unfortunately. (I now have a
recurring evening seminar on Mondays until October this year).

Recently a friend sent me this link (German):

In some aspects it reminded me of the story of Mapbender, including the
difficulties to grow the developer community, our refactoring efforts
and so on. Mapbender has come a long way and it would really be a pity
to not continue the good development - especially when comparing to such
a big project as OpenOffice (this is related to the article referenced
above).

== Marketing ==
One item we committed to (was it at the last sprint?) but did not yet
start is to produce more marketing material. I will start with a video
screencast this week.

Another item I would like to bring up in today's discussion is how we
proceed with MB 3.0. There is a presentation date coming up with FOSSGIS
2011 and I commited to support this. If we won't have any code to show
around it will mostly be a big wishlist and collection of ideas.

(I'll check the IRC backlog later to see what was decided on this).
