you should see the mb_notice. alter this to mb_exception - the url will be 
written to mapbenders error log as you ve seen it before.

copy the urls to your browser and check the returning picture.
please send a copy of the url to this mailing list.


your mapfile don't seem to be a valid mapfile to serve ows. please have a look 
at:
http://mapserver.org/ogc/index.html#ogc
e.g.:

MINBOXSIZE 10
MAXBOXSIZE 150
SCALEBAR
QUERYMAP
REFERENCE

are no wms specific params and may have problems when mapserver serves images 
over wms. (comment out the maxscaledenom/minscaledenom for testing)


please first make a simple wms mapfile for your background layers. check if 
printing make problems. mapbender doesn't support all mapserver parameters, 
cause it is mainly a client for ows.
