here are the vote results as of today:

With seven of eight PSC members in favor of the motion and one member
not responding / abstaining from the vote I declare the motion as
accepted.

The Mapbender dev team will make the upcoming release under the
proposed MIT license.

(1) Vadim did reply directly to me as he is off the mailing list. This
is due to his recent departure from WhereGroup.
