[Mapbender-users] where to get the map

Hi,
I don't know where to get data. Look at freegis.org or at google and
search for gis data or geo data. A quick search gave me many links but I
did not look which one gives free data. Doesn't your government gives
you free data? There seems to be an organization named NALIS which is in
relation to geodata.
Mapbender does not shows maps by itself. It shows maps coming from a WMS
source. So look in Google for WMS services with geodata from Malaysia too.
Another alternative may be to use Google maps and the Google API. But I
don't know if Malaysia is there available.
It depends a lot on what scale you want to use. Only adminstrative
boundaries or details like city plans.
Have a look at mapserver.gis.umn.edu. Then "new users" and then
"gallery". Perhaps you find there a source for data.
