[Mapbender-users] Google maps in Mapbender?

Hi folks!
I'm new in the mapbender world, and I can't find a piece of information: is it 
possible to use a google map as a layer in mapbender maps? 
I mean, like in OpenLayers?
I cannot find a way to do it, but I cannot find anything saying it's not 
possible.

AFAIK Google maps servers are not WMS, nor anything OGC standard, right?
