Hello Robert,

layer_epsg saves the BoundingBox from the Capabilities-Document for
every layer (if the information is provided). With this information
Mapbender can choose the start extent and Mapbender can use this
information to zoom to the Extent of a layer (see treeGDE).

have a look at the following Wiki Pages:
http://www.mapbender.org/Database_Changes_2.4.1
It discribes how to delete double entries from table layer_epsg.

To clean your database see also (Topic 7):
http://www.mapbender.org/Update_mapbender_2.2.3_to_2.4.3

------
schau Dir am Besten mal die folgende WIKI-Seite dazu an:
http://www.mapbender.org/Database_Changes_2.4.1
Hier wird beschrieben, wie doppelte Einträge aus der Tabelle layer_epsg
entfernt werden können.

ebenso Punkt 7 auf der Seite:
http://www.mapbender.org/Update_mapbender_2.2.3_to_2.4.3

Schönen Gruß Astrid
