[Mapbender-users] SOLVED: Mapbender 2.5 and digitizing: featureTypeArray is not defined, map.php (line 2702)

Another user had the same problem, and I was able to take a look at this
installation. The cause of the problem is quite absurd.

In wfs.js, someone used an HTML comment (<!--) instead of a JavaScript
comment (//). In the SVN version, this does not cause any problems,
because the JavaScript files are uncompressed. In the release version
however, the JS files are compressed, and so the line after the comment
got corrupted by the HTML comment. Weird, isn't it?

Anyway. If you have a Mapbender 2.5 installation, replace wfs.js by the
SVN version at

http://trac.osgeo.org/mapbender/browser/tags/2.5/http/javascripts/wfs.js?format=raw

or (better, and) delete the comment in function get_wfs_str at line 341.

This should solve this problem. I have added a Trac ticket for this
problem at

    http://trac.osgeo.org/mapbender/ticket/373

Thanks

Christoph
