also sobald ich auf curl umstelle passiert nimmer viel:

Wenn ich   $matching = true   setze, erscheint eine zusätzliche
Fehlermeldung in der mb_error.log:
ERROR: stripRefquest: maprequest lacks
(...es gibt aber auch keine _4.map dateien)

Was mich etwas irritiert:  php liefert (trotz definition) kein log...

mal schaun was ich über die curl-einstellung noch so finde...
