Hi Karim, 

Thanks for your help. Following your advice, I have installed Firefox (is
this one ok?? ;-)) and the message shown is (more or less, I translated it):

Connection to the server has been restarted while the page was being loaded.       
Site is temporally not available or too busy. Try again in a few moments.  
If you cannot load any page, check the network connection of your system        
If your system or network are protected by a firewall or proxy, check that
Firefox has permission for accessing the web.

I thought I turned the firewall off to avoid problems, but I've checked it
again. Now I also turned off something like "Domain Profile" and I noticed
that the "Private Profile" is active, but Firewall is turned off.

Maybe the answer is very simple, but how do I verify that I can access the
database as the Mapbender user? The database including the table mb_user
with the user "root" is there.

Here I post you something more from the apache logs. These are the messages
