[Mapbender-users] upgrade installation jumping muliple major versions of MapBender?

In 2.7 there are SQL-Scripts to update your installation up from 2.4.2,
these should work with plain(!) mapbender.
Depending on your customization there still can be a lot of work:
- update your own guis/applications
- change your own scripts
- change database (when not using postgresql 8.x), change encoding (when
not using UTF-8).

Create a copy of your current installation and practice on the copy to
find the hurdles is my best suggestion.
(And report any difficulties or put them into the wiki)
