Folks,
the FOSSGIS conference (FOSS4G's small sibling) has opened the Call for
Papers [1]. It will be in German language but we all manage some
English, so feel free to come visit beautiful Heidelberg from 5th to
7th of April 2011.

It will again be a highlight for many Mapbender users and developers and
we might again close the conference with a proper Mapbender code sprint.

Hitorical bits:
The Mapbender conference in 2005[2] was the first event to bring
together more than 80 people around Open Source web mapping in Germany.
That was even before FOSS4G started! To unify the community we gave up
our own conference and joined with others to start FOSSGIS in 2006. As a
result Mapbender does not have it's own event but instead is a vibrant
project and very visible in many use cases presented at the FOSSGIS event.

Best regards,
Arnulf.
