All,
FOSSGIS e.V. [0], the German language Local Chapter of OSGeo is proud to
announce the Call for Papers [1] for this year's edition of the FOSSGIS
Konferenz. (basically FOSS4G in German - yes we have a legacy name, but
- - well, we are Germans...).

This local edition of FOSS4G every year attracts around 500 attendees
from business, public administration, adademia and research. This year
it will take place in Dessau [2], better known for it's Bauhaus [3]
history and a worthwile place to visit.

Please feel free to spread word in your German speaking communities
(word of mouth still accounts for three quarters of all marketing).

der FOSSGIS e.V. [0], das deutschsprachige Local Chapter der OSGeo
eröffnet den Call for Papers [1] für die diesjöhrige Ausgabe der FOSSGIS
Konferenz.

Auf diese "lokalisierte Version" der FOSS4G Konferenz kommen jedes Jahr
um die 500 Teilnehmer aus der Wirtschaft, Verwaltung, Forschung und
Lehere. Dieses Jahr findet die FOSSGIS vom 20.-22- März in Dessau statt,
welches auch auch durch seine Bauhaus [4] Architektur bekannt wurde und
immer einen Besuch Wert ist.

Bitte leiten Sie diese Information auch an ihre Kollegen, andere Firmen
und die Nachbarverwaltung weiter, denn traditionsgemäß erfahren fast ein
viertel aller Teilnehmer nur über Kollegen von dieser Konferenz (auch
wenn sie inzwischen schon fester Bestandteil der deutschsprachigen Geo &
GIS Szene ist).
