hello charles,

which wfs module do you use? if you use the normal  gazetteerWFS module,
you need also to assign the wfs_conf id to the module in the gui. this is
done via element var:
wfsConfIdString - is a php_var

please have a look at the demo 'gui' - click on the element name in the
list and see the values.

the assigning to a gui is only for the authorization. the gazetteerWFS
module needs the id of the  wfs_conf. there is also another more dynamical
module which we use in our geoportal. it has a layertree for the different
wfs_conf, which can be added dynamical to a single gui by get-parameter.
