Dear all.
Since Chrome version 50, it seems to be that the Geolocation API is only
available if the application is hosted on HTTPS. See this document for
details.
https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/04/geolocation-on-secure-contexts-only
Therefore the Mapbender GPS button will only work if Mapbender is hosted
on a https-Server.
If you host Mapbender on https and access http based WMS-services you
will notice you will notice some Firebug/Developer-Tools entries talking
about "insecure content" if the services are accessed directly.
It is interesting to see how the www-pages emerge to more https.
