Thanks for the compliment. I like Mpabender3 too, especially the 
digitizer ;)

The behaviour you describe was discussed in the developer team too.
But it is not part of Mapbender3 yet. Digitizer should filter the 
objects that are displayed and write the mapbender3 user to a column in 
the data table.

If you are interested in the implementation and you have a budget you 
can contact me so we can implement this behaviour.
