[mapguide-dev] mg version stamp

Oh, and to answer your question, the version is set using the
FILEVERSION attribute in Server\src\Core\ServerCore.rc.

There are other .rc files that also need to be changed to get the proper
version stamp in the DLLs. If you open up the server and web tier
solutions in Visual Studio, you can see all the projects, check each
project for a .rc file (usually the same name as the project) and change
the FILEVERSION attribute in there as well.

Hi Haris,

Are you seeing a 1.0.1 or a 1.0.0.1? I see from the ServerCore.rc file
that the version is set to 1.0.0.1. I'll see if we can get that updated
to the correct version numbers for any postings we do from now on. It
should be 1.0.2.17861 for this source tarball.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Tom

Hi,

I have successfully build from sources and used MG 1.0.2 on windows XP
platform.

But versions of build files are still 1.0.1. Where is version stamped
for this file ( like mgserver.exe) in which make files?
