[mapguide-internals] Joining to Development Team

Currently there is no localisation project. We're still really getting
underway as a PSC and this question had not come up yet. It's very
exciting though.

The submission process for patches has not been formalised. Some
projects just ask them to be sent to the -internals list, but I'm not
sure how I feel about it. My preference would be for you to post to
this list that they are available, then one of the developers with
check-in rights would arrange to receive and review the files, and
upload them if they pass code review.

I think that we may need to get a contributor agreement from you as
well?

Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Once this is under way, we should put up a web page listing the
translations and the person who is maintaining them, so they can be
notified when a new string needs to be added to the resource file, etc.

Hi Jason

*****Have you read this page: http://mapguide.osgeo.org/developer.html ?

Yes I have and I joined the mailing list, but I still do not understand
what I have to do!

*****You don't really need anything to get started as a Contributor
other than the ability to check out from SVN anonymously, and generate
patch files from your work

Ok I can check SVN because you have sent the address to me. But should I
be able to upload files?
Who leads the localization project?
