I don't want to put in a release candidate. We have code ready for
upgrading to GEOS 3.0 (had it ready for MGOS 1.2) but we're just waiting
for it to release now. Anyone know when we can expect a release?
We have an update ready for GDAL 1.4.2, looks like we'll have to revise
that.

Subject: [mapguide-internals] OEM updates?
Hi all,
Is it too late to consider upgrading our internal verions of some of the
libraries?
GEOS 3.0 RC4 is apparently more stable and faster than 2.2.3 (we're
running 2.2.2)
GDAL 1.4.3 should be released today, and includes some important bug
fixes around memory leaks, etc (we're running 1.4.0).
PHP 5.2.4 includes numerous security patches and bug fixes (we're
currently on 5.2.1)
Perhaps we could look at this for 2.0 Beta 2, as well as another refresh
of FDO 3.3 to pull in the OGR and PostGIS providers by default (Greg's
working to add them to the build process and upgrade FDO's GDAL to
1.4.3).
