Hi Andy,

If anyone can step up, I'm pretty sure that Autodesk developers can help answer questions or give pointers if asked (as opposed to sitting down and working through this).  I would like to see this resolved as soon as possible, however I'm currently not in a position to be able to help :(.

BTW, as far as I know the Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise 2009 raster support is stable.  Have you found different, perhaps we should continue this particular part of the discussion over private email.

Hi Tom,
I don't think that any progress is being made on the GDAL provider at the
moment.  Frank is really looking for core FDO / MapGuide developers to
assist in this issue rather than MapGuide integrators and API programmers
like most of us.  I volunteered to contribute $500 to the effort.  But, as
far as I know, nobody has stepped up.  I'm not really sure who has the
abilities to assist in solving this problem other than Autodesk or a select
few developers out there.

Is any progress being made on the raster issues?  I saw an email from Frank
saying that he was looking for a MG developer in the Ottawa area, but I
don't think anything came of that.

My only worry is that this might cause additional instability to the already
unstable FDO Autodesk Raster and GDAL providers.  I would hope that those
instability issues be ironed out prior to introducing new raster features.
